Can't slow me down

Normally, by now I'd be bitching about men being boys and a waste of time, but eh. I think it's because I sort of felt like I knew this wouldn't work out but I didn't mind entertaining the possibility which was a big step. On the other hand, I've committed myself to putting my school work and advancement first and not to settle for less in the romance department. So I'm not shaken up by whatever it is that Mr. West is trying to do. At this point, anything will just be a lame excuse unless something happend to his child.

Mow, I finally emailed the final contents for my Baruch transfer. I paid for the DCAS exam so I can get a title with the city. I mailed out my postcard to get an application for Two Trees and I reaccessed my goal list for 2009. I want to have my own place by Dec. Be in Baruch for fall. Have a job with the city with convenient hours. I need to start posting pictures for visualization outside of my mind.

Joan is engaged! The first of the four. Mel and I are co-planners with Red and we're in the wedding. Very excited for her! Also, very glad it's not me. I'm hardly dating. I can't imagine being someone's wife right now. I keep seeing babies and little kids and the biological clok kicks in and those instincts come about where I go awwww... but Lord!! I can't imagine being anyone's mother right now. I can imagine having my convenient working hours, my own place, and my spot in my goal school. Maybe I'll make time for a guy who is worth my time along the way.

Speaking of that again, I'm grown and it's time I made some rules for my dating life. Some of them are common sense and readily imposed but I need to not bend in an effort to be "open minded".
I'll have to compose the full list later and I'll add to it along the way, but I have a few that need to be at the forefront now.

1. No time for time wasters, bs'ers, game players- you get the jist.
2. No baggage, children, ex drama, hang ups, emotional needy need not apply, etc.
3. Age is just a number, but the ones near mine are still a stretch.
4. He must be working towards a career by being in school or have graduated.
5.

I'll continue later. I have to wake up for class at 6.
