So, I think I've decided to stay at NYCCT for one more semester. I'll get inducted and then bounce-or move on (to sound gracious) . I've been trying to find the best major out of the three for me to complete and I have settled on my first choice (again). I am almost eligible for the major so it makes sense. I could start it in the fall . I'm going to go to the business school for undergrad since all I need is one math and literature req. My Fl req is taken care of already. I need 45 creds and I'm at 31. I can do international marketing and adv. or small business management or adv and marketing in the business school and then complete the journalism seq of 24 creds without all the extra LAS reqa. So I can kill two birds with one stone. I can complete the BBA major by spring and then the Journalism major by Dec 2010 and graduate early! If I'm not mistaken. I'll get my BBA in two years..... I must've missed something. I may minor in Law and policy or black studies, We'll see. I need Acct, Micro and Macro, Math-Pre Cal, Great Works of Lit and Statistics and I'm good to go into a business major. I'm taking Macro and Lit in the summer. Maybe a math too. Then Acct, Micro, Sta, Pre Cal and a lit req for the journalism major in the fall. I'm going to minor in international business.

AN INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS MINOR IS THE PERFECT COMPANION
If you are an undergraduate business student majoring in Accounting, CIS, Finance, Management or Marketing, an International-Business Minor will enhance your employability. In today’s market-place, graduates who combine strong professional skills with international competence are in demand. Here in New York, the most global city of all, opportunities for those who blend the two are particularly large.
It’s simple. It involves taking only three courses. Since the courses that qualify you for one of these minors are 3000 and 4000 level, you can’t take them until you are a junior. But even if you are a sophomore or a freshman, you need to plan now. Some of those courses have prerequisites or corequisites, and not all courses are given every term. Since Baruch students can only take a limited number of free electives, it’s important to start early and choose your electives carefully--first to fulfill prerequisites and then for the corequisites and courses for the Minor in International Business.
IF YOU’RE MAJORING IN BUSINESS: To graduate with a BBA, you will have to take most of the prerequisites for the international minor anyway. Thus, all you have to do is make sure that when you’re a junior and a senior, you take as electives the remaining prerequisites and corequisites and the three courses that will qualify you for this minor.
