So, over the summer , I wrote the DOT (Department of Transportation) a very concise and concerned email about the constant car accidents on my block's corner. We have only one stop sign and it hasn't been enough to prevent these countless accidents. THE DOT responded with an email stating that they have weighed my concerns and have done a field investigation, but they do not see a need for another stop sign. Well, I received a letter from the DOT yesterday, which I only opened today, and it was them informing me that they are pleased to let me know they will be putting a stop sign on our corner. They reviewed my email again, and they have decided it is necessary. YAY!!!!
