Today I swung by the library on my class break with the intentions of using the internet, but I saw my friend who works in the library. Let's call him..... Leron. So, I used to have a slight crush on Leron, but I caught myself. He's about two years younger but very much focused as an IT tech and cute. Anyway, we ran into each other on the train earller this week. He asked me for my number to keep in touch since he got a better job in the school,( which pays for his masters) and he wouldn't be working at the library anymore.
Anyway, I got a call from him this Thusday and he informed me that he did something very nice. I'll get into that later. Today, we chatted on my break and he walked me to class where we continued to talk and laugh. He and I have effortless convos. He asked me what time I got out and if I'd like him to wait for me, so I said sure why not.
I went back to the library after class to copy some hw problems and he and I talked while I wrote. He is hilarious. I found out some more about him. Sadly, I don't see myself dating him. While he is mature and interesting, he's rastafarian and I would have never guesses had he not said he was Jamaican. No dreads or anything. Nice hair cut and all, but certain facts pointed to the obvious.
So, we're leaving the library and I mention being hungry and getting food. He decided to have breafast as well and we go to IHOP. I make it clear that this is not a date since he made it clear that he doesn't have girl's for friends, or friends in general. I asked him which category would I fall and he said same place same time. Good. He thinks people are shady after a childhood incident. Lol, he said he learned from a young age. Anyway, I told him that he was bitter to a degree but he is right. Some people show their true colors in situations. I know so too well.
IHOP was crowded, so we went to Appollo's instead. We ate and talked for like two hours. On the way there I saw Mr 7 olock. He waved to me form the bus and Leron asked me jokingly about the driver and if we can get on for free. I told him about my past crush and how he's now checking for me, but I'm not interested anymore. He seemed to be processing that info.
Anyway, we had a great time talking and eating. We sat there for two hours and then he offered to pay the bill, but I decided we'd split it. It wasn't until after that did it dawn on me that I should have paid for him considering his act of kindness, but I'll remember next time. He walked me to my next bus, I hugged him good-bye, and I told him to get home safely and I had fun.Yaddi -Yaddi
I did have fun since he had me dying with laughter the whole time. He's cool. I can see us hanging out as long as he doesn't think it's more.
In the meantime, Vincent called me to inquire about my day's agenda. I told him that I'd call him back.
