I had to slap myself!

I couldn't help it. I literally slapped myself on the forehead immediately after I read the cover letter I perfected over three hours ago. After having my CV and letter reviewed in the career office and then adjusted, I went to the school store to get the envelope to mail it out, then to the post office to get the weight and stamps, then Kinkos to make my own label so it will look professional, then back to the post office to mail it out. THREE HOURS! Now as I sit here and read the damn cover letter, I realize I left the space blank between my closing and my printed name. I forgot to sign the damn letter! And how could I have possibly missed it?! This job seems so ideal and everything was perfect down to my labels. I hope I get a call regardless. Especially since I took the time out to mail it. Here's hoping!
