Feliz Cumpleanos and Welcome back!

Oh my! I just got in from a long evening and drinks with Jazmine. First, it was my first day back since last Fri. We had a break (thanks Jewish people) in which I did absolutely nothing but relax. I started getting bored with the free time and then I remembered that we have a Psych exam tomorrow/ today=. I went to the book store and FINALLY my book voucher was ready. $350 bucks. Now, my mother just told me that a voucher is free, but I don't believe it. I am sure it comes out of my grant credit, but I will inquire about it tomorrow. Anyway, I went to sociology class today and had a great time. I really like that class. I found a seat upfront and got to participate more. We had a lively discussion today. It was very nice and I took such wonderful notes in my newly purchased notebook (thank you book voucher). Afterwards, I went to the library to study for my Psych test and I saw that it was 7:45. Our professor let us out earlier than our usual 8:30, so I was able to meet up with Julie Parker and Jazmine for dinner.

Dinner was cool. We went to a nice underground Thai restaurant called Klongs over on St. Marks Place. It shouldn't be hard to locate the black people, but they were tucked away in the back. I asked the host if he saw a girl with an afro and he pointed me in my party's direction. Never fails. There I saw Mary's BFF and met Jazmine's co-worker, Rose. She asked me about my major and when I told her she said "Wooow!". Lol, I keep getting that reaction and I like it. The food was great and the wine was lovely and free!. We had random convo and displayed semi-slackness. We celebrated Jazmine and she got carded. How nice! Lol, it's always nice to be carded on your B-day, no? Yes. I remember being carded three times. By the third time I was just experimenting to see if it was really happening. Anyway, we swiped a piece of Jazzy's surprise Mousse cake and then settled our bill to head over to Coopers to watch the debate. There we had shots on the house (thanks Bradley). We watched Palin look like she was making a fool of herself against Biden who held his ground and came as strong as Obama did against Mccain. I am certain that she did make a fool of herself or was wel rehearsed if she pulled it off, but I had to squint while I read the caption.. so I can't say for sure. My mother said she wasn't too bad. I need glasses. Anyway, we had more laughs, sang loudly and off-key, acted a little crazy and then parted ways with July Parker and her BFF.

Me and Jazzy walked to the BM2 and for once I was the sober friend in a situation in which Chad was not involved. I had to explain to people that it was Jazzy's birthday and they all agreed that she was allowed to be inebriated. We spoke Spanish as we waited for the BM2 and had a lovely bus ride home. Now, after I relayed my day to my mother, I am here thinking about my exam tomorrow, my sims tonight, and that Media conference/fair in the morning. As late as it is right now, my day tomorrow is a toss up.

Oh, and Brittany from all three of my classes asked me how I did on our Eng essay. I decided to go the safe route and say, " Oh, I did well". She said she got a B. I said very good. Imagine if I told her that I got an A-.

Not a bad return to my routine and to think-the week is practically over. It really flew by. I have a Socio exam in two Thursdays and I am excited for it. La La... Just a good day overall.

Background- Brittany is this girl in three of my four classes. She asked me about my grade in our Socio class the other day while we were on break in Psych. We began talking and then I learned that she was actually my age and thought I was fresh out of high school because I am so eager in class. Her words. We talked some more and had some things in common. I am glad. I didn't think it would make sense for us to go the enitre semester and not speak since we had so many classes together, but I have to be conscious about telling her my grades. I know she probably saw me as annoying as I sometimes see Shawanda in Psych. But at the end of the day, me and Shawanda are getting our A's and that's the my only concern.

Oh, and I was surrounded by advertising people tonight. Maybe there is a reason that I met them all this year. I think advertising and being creative would be cool. Who knowss.. I may use my degree to try my hands at it.
